140-P CAFS Power Take-Off KitS.

The suppression capabilities of foam, air and water provide exceptional knockdown performance in the 140−P and 200−P CAF system. Our 140−P and 200−P PTO-driven air compressor kits are specifically designed for installation in fire apparatus, either OEM installed or retrofitted to an in-service vehicle. The 140−P PTO CAFSystem™ kit develops a minimum of 140 CFM of air at 125 PSIg (3.9 m3/min @ 8.6 bar) and the 200−P PTO develops a minimum of 200 CFM of air at 125 PSIg (5.6 m3/min @ 8.6 bar) when matched with a foam proportioner and water pump.

Combined with a Waterous Aquis™ Foam Proportioner or Advantus® Foam System make the power take-off 140−P and 200−P a crucial tool for maximizing your fire protection capabilities. An optional airflow meter is also available for mounting on the pump operator’s panel. The airflow meter indicates the total airflow in standard cubic feet per minute (0−150).

Specifications

GHH-Rand air compressor with tapered roller bearings and triple lip shaft seal, oil−flooded, rotary screw type, sized to supply 140 sCFM (3.4 m3/min) (140−P model) or 200 sCFM (5.6 m3/min) (200−P model) of usable air.
Modulating Pneumatic Inlet Valve controls air delivery while maintaining constant pressure.
Electric Auto Sync™ Balancing System automatically maintains the air pressure within +/− 5% of the water pump pressure throughout the pressure range.
Modular Air/Oil Separator head assembly with spin-on cartridge.
Air compressor cooling system uses the unit’s water pump, a copper and brass shell and tube heat exchanger to cool the compressor. The system maintains recommended operating temperatures throughout the full operational range in ambient temperatures up to 115°F (46.1°C). A “fail safe” switch precludes engagement of the compressor PTO unless the fire pump is engaged.
Air Compressor System Protection is a warning system in the hydraulic oil system alerts the operator of high temperature. A warning light and audible alarm are provided for mounting on the pump operator’s panel.
