PTO Kits Model: 80-P
Premium Platinum Series PTO Based Air Compressor Kits.

Our Platinum Series PTO-driven, air compressor kits are specifically designed for installation in fire apparatus, either OEM installed or retrofitted to an in-service vehicle. The 80−P develops a minimum of 80 CFM of air at 125 PSIg (2.3 m3/min @ 8.6 bar) when matched with a foam proportioner and water pump. Units come standard with an industry exclusive five-year warranty and three-day on-site operation and maintenance instruction.

Specifications

GHH-Rand air compressor with tapered roller bearings and triple lip shaft seal, oil−flooded, rotary screw type, sized to supply 80 sCFM (2.3 m3/min) of usable air.
Modulating Pneumatic Inlet Valve controls air delivery while maintaining constant pressure.
Electric Auto Sync™ Balancing System automatically maintains the air pressure within +/− 5% of the water pump pressure throughout the pressure range.
Modular Air/Oil Separator head assembly with spin-on cartridge.
Air compressor cooling system uses the unit’s water pump, a copper and brass shell and tube heat exchanger to cool the compressor. The system maintains recommended operating temperatures throughout the full operational range in ambient temperatures up to 115°F (46.1°C). A “fail safe” switch precludes engagement of the compressor PTO unless the fire pump is engaged.
Air Compressor System Protection is a warning system in the hydraulic oil system alerts the operator of high temperature. A warning light and audible alarm are provided for mounting on the pump operator’s panel.
Controls and Instruments: Mounting on the pump operator’s panel:
- Auto/Sync compressor controls w/engraved instruction plate
- Air compressor temperature gauge w/250° warning switch
- NFPA required warning and instruction plates

Options and Accessories

Air Flow Meter is available for mounting on the pump operator’s panel. The air flow meter indicates the total air−flow in standard cubic feet per minute (0−150).
