80-SP CAFS Power Take-Off Kit.

Our Silver Series PTO-driven air compressor kits are specifically designed for departments and brigades that are looking for more economical CAFSystems™. The 80−SP power take-off kit develops a minimum of 80 CFM of air at 125 PSIg (2.3 m3/min @ 8.6 bar) when matched with a foam proportioner and water pump. Providing superior knockdown performance with the firefighting capabilities of foam, air and water, the 80−SP system suppresses fires effectively at an affordable cost.

Options & Accessories

The Waterous 80−SP PTO-driven air compressor kit comes with a variety of options to fit the needs of your fire department and easily interface with numerous accessories. Combined with a Waterous Aquis™ Foam Proportioner or Advantus® Foam System make the power take-off 80-SP a crucial tool for maximizing your fire suppression capabilities. An optional airflow meter is also available for mounting on the pump operator’s panel. The airflow meter indicates the total airflow in standard cubic feet per minute (0−150).

Specifications

Air compressor with non-tapered roller bearings and double lip shaft seal, oil-flooded, rotary screw type, sized to supply 80 sCFM (2.3 m3/min) of usable air.
Modulating Pneumatic Inlet Valve controls air delivery while maintaining constant pressure.
Manual Auto Sync™ Balancing System automatically maintains the air pressure within +/− 5% of the water pump pressure throughout the pressure range.
Modular Air/Oil Separator head assembly with spin-on cartridge.
Air compressor cooling system uses the unit’s water pump, a copper and brass shell and tube heat exchanger to cool the compressor. The system maintains recommended operating temperatures throughout the full operational range in ambient temperatures up to 115°F (46.1°C). A “fail safe” switch precludes engagement of the compressor PTO unless the fire pump is engaged.
Air Compressor System Protection is a warning system in the hydraulic oil system alerts the operator of high temperature. A warning light and audible alarm are provided for mounting on the pump operator’s panel.

- Air compressor temperature gauge w/250° warning switch
- NFPA required warning and instruction plates
