The Waterous 60-GM, 70-DM and 120-DM models include an engine-driven, air compressor module designed for applications where access to a PTO is either inconvenient or not available. Included on all 60-GM, 70-DM and 120-DM units is a Pneumatic Modulating Inlet Valve that controls air delivery while maintaining constant pressure, and an Auto Sync™ Balancing System that automatically maintains the air pressure within +/− 5% of the water pump pressure throughout the pressure range and panel mounted instruments.
Waterous’ economy-sized air compressor module packs a big punch in a small compressor. Designed to supply a minimum of 60 sCFM (1.7 m3/min) of usable air, and powered by a Briggs and Stratton Vanguard 23 HP (17.2 kW), 380447 two-cylinder, four-cycle gasoline engine, the 60-DM meets the rigors of your fire department.
Our medium-sized air compressor module is just right. Designed to supply a minimum of 70 sCFM (2.0 m3/min) of usable air, and powered by a Briggs-Diahatsu® 26 HP (19.4 kW) diesel engine, the 70-DM provides superior fire suppression performance.
This heavy-duty air compressor module is sized to supply a minimum of 120 sCFM (3.4 m3/min) of usable air for ultimate performance. Powered by a Kubota® 39 HP (29.1 kW) diesel engine, the 120-DM meets the demands of the toughest firefighting conditions.
The Waterous 60-DM, 70-DM and 120-DM modular air compressor systems come with a variety of options to fit the needs of your fire department and easily interface with numerous accessories. Combined with a Waterous Aquis™ Foam Proportioner, Advantus® Foam System or FoamPro make the 60-DM, 70-DM and 120-DM a crucial tool for maximizing your fire suppression capabilities. A frame−mounted six (6) gallon (22.7 liter) fuel tank connected to the engine fuel pump is also available.
