We’ve even developed a smaller version to accommodate lighter-duty chassis trucks. All of our Eclipse ES™ models feature our premier Auto Sync Balancing System, air compressor and air-activated clutch, providing unmatched fire extinguishing capabilities.

The Eclipse ES™ CAFS is available in the following configurations:

S100 Series Fire Pump

End-suction design crafted with a C20 Series transmission and ratings of 2000 GPM (7570 L/min.) and 200 CFM (5.6 m3/min).

CX Series Fire Pump (for lighter-duty chassis trucks)

End-suction design crafted with a C20 Series transmission and ratings of 1250 GPM (4700 L/min.) and 200 CFM (5.6 m3/min).

TC10 Series PTO

A PTO version of the aluminum C10 Series transmission, which allows use of a remotely mounted PTO-driven fire pump.

Options & Accessories

The Eclipse ES™ Series CAFSystems™ come with a variety of options to fit the needs of your fire department and easily interface with numerous accessories. The optional foam proportioning system is a fully automatic direct foam injection system capable of Class A and most Class B concentrates, which includes a digital electronic control display. Also available is the Waterous Auto Tank Fill System, which alleviates the problem of high hydrant pressure and the need to have an operator constantly monitor the water tank.

Specifications
  • A pneumatic modulating inlet valve controls air compressor, and is an oil-flooded, rotary screw-type sized to supply a minimum of 200 CFM at a minimum of 125 PSIG.
  • An all copper and brass shell and tube heat exchanger cools the Eclipse’s Air compressor using water from the Waterous fire pump.
  • Auto-Sync™ balancing system maintains air pressure within +/- 5% of water pump pressure throughout the pressure range in each of its four separate modes of operation.
  • Air compressor driven off the back of a standard Waterous pump transmission, engaged pneumatic activated "hot shift" clutch.
  • Standard spin-on, full-flow oil filter unit and thermostatic valve regulate oil flow to the cooler.
  • Equipped with a high-speed clutch with HICO friction facings and shielded bearings.
  • The C20 transmission and TC10 power take-off have a high-strength aluminum, three-piece vertically-split housing.
  • Optional separately mounted foam manifolds forged of heavy cast iron consist of a fully integrated assembly with foam injector port, flow meter mount and spring assisted check valve.
  • Optional foam proportioning system is a fully automatic direct foam injection system capable of Class A and most Class B concentrates is furnished and installed. (includes a digital electronic control display).

Options and Accessories

Auto Tank Fill System - To alleviate the problem of high hydrant pressure and the need to have an operator constantly monitor the water tank, Waterous offers the Auto Tank Fill System. Designed to use any of the available Waterous electric−actuated ball valves (sold separately), the Auto Tank Fill System maintains a constant low pressure water supply at the pump intake by automatically filling the water tank and maintaining a water level between 50 and 80%.
