70-35-GP Slide-in/Portable CAFSystem™

The 70-35-GP is a slide-in, portable compressed air foam system designed and constructed to discharge water, foam solution or compressed air foam. The system simultaneously delivers a minimum of 70 GPM of water at 100 PSIg (265 L/min. @ 6.9 bar) and 35 CFM of air at 100 PSIg (0.9 m3/min @ 6.9 bar) and compressed air foam discharge pressure up to 130 PSIg (9 bar).

Air Compressor

The air compressor is an 4−cylinder, reciprocating-type that is rated at 35 sCFM (0.9 m3/min) equipped with a low oil pressure warning light.
Auto Sync™ Balancing System automatically maintains the air pressure within +/− 5% of the water pump pressure throughout the pressure range.
Air compressor transmission contains a "Poly-Chain" drive and 8mm pitch sprockets

Engine Specifications

Briggs and Stratton Vanguard model 380447, two-cylinder, air cooled, sintered iron cylinder liners delivering a maximum of 23 horsepower (17.2 kW), 627 cc displacement, four−cycle, gasoline fueled. Two-year manufacturer's warranty.
Spark-arresting muffler
Pressure lubrication system with spin−on oil filter and external oil cooler.
12−volt electric with 20A alternator, electric ignition and start switch.

Pump Specifications

Hypro® centrifugal water pump utilizing close−grained iron case, reinforced-nylon impeller, stainless steel shaft and maintenance−free mechanical seal.
Intake: 1-1/2 inch
Discharge: 1-1/2 inch

Priming System

Jet Prime System: Pneumatic oil−free primer capable of priming the water pump through 20 feet (6 m) of 2−1/2 (63.5 mm) inch hard intake hose with a 10 foot (3 m) lift. Controls are mounted on the operator's panel.

Plumbing

Inlet: Inlet piping is 1.5" brass−bronze pipe with a 1.5" tank to pump valve controlled at the pump panel. A 1.5" valve with integral bleeder valve is provided behind the pump panel for overboard pump inlet with a 1.5" F−NST connection.
Discharge: Plumbing to one 1.5" discharge outlet incorporates Class 1 high−pressure hydraulic hose with stainless steel fittings. A 1" tank fill provision with 1" valve is provided.

Foam Proportioner

Aquis™ 1.5 Foam Proportioner

The Aquis™ 1.5 foam proportioner offers the next level of power with a foam output capacity of 1.5 GPM @ 150 psi (5.7 l/min @ 32 bar) with a 1/3 HP (.27 kW) pump motor.

Aquis™ 2.5 Foam Proportioner

The Aquis™ 2.5 foam proportioner offers the next level of power with a foam output capacity of 2.5 GPM @ 150 psi (9.5 l/min @ 32 bar) with a 1/2 HP (.40 kW) pump motor.

Pump Operator's Panel incorporated into frame

Contains Auto Sync, air compressor, foam proportioner controls, and water pressure and air pressure gauges.
