A full-torque, split-shaft power take-off with counter-engine-wise rotation, the Waterous TML industrial transmission provides ultimate versatility. The TML offers output capacities up to 150 hp (112kW) and thru-torque to 9100 ft. lb (12,400 N•m). Also providing output to the front, rear or both, the TML has five available ratios.

Options & Accessories
The Waterous TML industrial split-shaft power take-off transmissions come with a variety of options to fit the needs of your fire operations and easily interface with numerous accessories. A tachometer/speedometer connection is available for the mechanical drive design (standard available without tachometer or speedometer). A tachometer and speedometer are also available separately on various models. An electric shift in-cab control is available to eliminate mechanical linkages and simplifies shifting operation. Also available are Bendix Duo-Duty parking brakes applicable for a variety of driveline and U-joint sizes.

Specifications

Case: High-tensile gray iron.
Driveline: Standard: 1-3/4-10 SAE spline, 4100 ft-lb torque rating. Optional: 2-10 SAE spline, 6100 ft-lb torque rating or 2-38T involute spline, 9100 ft-lb torque rating
Output shaft: 1-1/8 round with key, 1-3/8 spline with yoke. SAE Class B 2-bolt or 4-bolt, 1/8-13T spline. SAE Class C 2-bolt or 4-bolt, 1-1/4-14 spline. Output to front, rear or both. Front output rotation-clockwise, rear output rotation-counterclockwise.
Bearings: Oil lubricated ball bearings throughout.
Gears: Constant mesh helical, alloy steel. All gears are crown shaved, carburized and hardened. The bores are precision ground.

Options and Accessories

Tachometer/speedometer connection: Mechanical drive design. Standard: without tachometer or speedometer. Optional: Tachometer only, speedometer only (not available with 2 in. driveline), tachometer and speedometer (not available with 2 in. driveline).
Electric shift: Dependable in-cab control eliminates mechanical linkages and simplifies shifting operation.
Parking brake: Bendix Duo-Duty, available as follows:

9 x 3 for 1500 series U-joints
12 x 3 for 1600 series U-joints
2-10 SAE Driveline
