Floto-Pump™ Portable Fire Pumps

The Waterous Floto-Pump™ portable fire pump was originally developed to meet the rugged forest fire demands of the United States Forest Service, and is now also used for marine service, dewatering, pool maintenance, environmental clean-up and irrigation. Weighing only 42 lbs. (19.1 kg), the pump is easily carried by one person.

One High Performance Pump. Two Powerful Models.

Our Floto-Pumps™ are available in two models, the Standard and the High Pressure. The Standard Floto-Pump™ produces maximum pressures of 105 PSI (7 bar) and maximum flows of 140 GPM (530 L/min.). Designed specifically for forest fire applications, the High Pressure Floto-Pump™ throws a stream of water over 85 feet (26 m) at 170 PSI (12 bar) and produces maximum flows of 60 GPM (230 L/min.). Both versions of the Floto-Pump™ are powered by U.S. Motor Power "Power Bee" engine.

Low Maintenance

Backed by exclusive factory service and expert technicians, the Floto-Pump™ portable fire pumps can be repaired and back in service faster than apparatus equipped with other brands of portable fire pumps. With Waterous service and maintenance, your Floto-Pump™ pump service and maintenance needs are under control.

Options & Accessories

Available with a variety of options to fit the needs of your fire department, the Waterous Floto-Pump™ portable fire pumps easily interface with numerous accessories. A 1.5" forestry fire hose is available for the High Pressure model. For both the Standard and High Pressure models, a nozzle and spanner wrench is also available.

Specifications

8 hp U.S Motor Power "Power Bee" Model 82029, air-cooled, two-cycle engine with recoil starter ("D" handle), pressure carburetor with integral fuel pump, solid-state ignition, automatic float controlled throttle and compression release valve for easier starts.
Water-resistant air cleaner and muffler.
U.S. Forest Service Qualified Specification (no. S100-00275) pump is encased in anodized aluminum with a built-in intake screen.
Bronze impeller on Standard Floto-pump. Aluminum impeller with Ni-resistant wear rings on High Pressure Floto-pump.
Face-type mechanical seal requires no adjustment.
1.5 inch discharge with NH, NPSH or BSP threads available.
Float assembly made of a high-density polyethylene shell filled with polyurethane foam.
5 quart (4.7L) fuel tank capacity gives 1 to 1.5 hours running time on an unleaded gas/oil mix.
2-year parts and service warranty on Engine.
