When Waterous began, we focused on fire fighting needs for growing communities. Developing horse-drawn hose carts, steam-powered fire engines, the first gasoline-engine-driven fire pump and the first fire apparatus to use the vehicle’s engine to drive both the vehicle and the fire pump.
