Waterous introduces revolutionary international pump
Lighter, smaller and packing a powerful punch for departments worldwide

South St. Paul, Minn., April 22, 2012

Unveiled at the 2012 FDIC exhibition and training conference in Indianapolis, Ind., Waterous’ new PASSPORT™ single-stage fire pump is meets both EN 1028 and NFPA 1901 compliance requirements, creating a new benchmark for international pumps.

“Part of the design objectives included lighter construction to comply with increasingly tighter standards and requirements,” said Steve Toren, sales and marketing director for Waterous. “That’s why we built the pump by integrating aluminum and composite components.”

The new ONE STEP system automates the process of making foam and relieves concerns of high incoming water pressure, plus creates reproducible foam while consuming less water and foam concentrate.
